My roots in Ward 5 Ward 5 isn’t just where I’m running for City Council it’s home. My roots here go back more than 30 years. I’ve grown up walking these streets, building lifelong friendships, supporting our local businesses, participating in our community, and watching our neighbourhoods change over the years. My family, my memories, and so much of my life are connected to this ward. I know Ward 5 not simply from a map or a City report, but from living here and listening to the people who call it home. That connection is a big part of why I’m running. I give back to the community that helped shape who I am and make sure Ward 5 remains a place where families, seniors, young people, newcomers, and small businesses can build their own roots for generations to come.
